History

From a humble home garage in New South Wales, Australia in 1977 to a world-leading manufacturer of engineering solutions for clients worldwide in the 21st Century, Leussink is a family owned and operated business with a global presence.

Owners Carel and Muriel Leussink founded Leussink, originally under the name C&M Leussink Engineering Pty Ltd, in 1977 in Unanderra, Wollongong, just south of Sydney, NSW.

While our founders had ambitious business growth plans from day one, they were intent on maintaining the family owned, family operated nature of the business. Leussink was formed with a genuine desire to help companies with their engineering problems, and today that philosophy continues to guide every business decision we make.

Today, Leussink operates out of a world-class manufacturing facility and under the guidance of the second generation, Jason, Ray and Kenley Leussink, has expanded its reach into international markets including Europe, Asia, UAE and New Zealand.

Our core business activities include bespoke manufacturing using state of the art CNC machining to produce engineered solutions to the highest possible standards. From small individual components to large, designed from the ground up, fully manufactured assemblies, we take customers’ ideas from ideation to realisation. And we have been doing it for more than 40 years…and counting.
