Each year, we welcome promising new apprentices into our ranks, investing significant time and effort in shaping the future machinists, fabricators, draftsmen, tradesmen, and engineers.
To underscore our dedication to this endeavour, we look no further than Leussink's own Managing Director, Jason Leussink, who embarked on his own apprenticeship journey at Leussink in the early 1990s.
Our award-winning apprentices
At Leussink, we value our apprentices profoundly. Our commitment to providing them with unmatched apprenticeship training is evident in our track record of producing award-winning young professionals who excel in their respective fields upon completing their apprenticeships with us.
In recent years, our apprentices have earned accolates such as the TAFE Student of the Year Awards and positions on both the NSW state and Australian national WorldSkills teams. Two of our apprentices have been chosen to represent Australia at the WorldSkills Olympics, the elite world championships for vocational skills. The first apprentice to achieve this feat, finishing fourth place in the Turning category at the WorldSkills Olympics in Taiwan in 1993, was none other than Leussink Managing Director, Jason Leussink.
